As I journeyed through the vast and intricate world of creativity, I found myself inspired to capture the essence of the artistic process in a poem. “Echos of Creation” is the result of this exploration, a deeply personal and intimate reflection of my own experience as an artist. In this free verse poem, I weave together vivid imagery and poignant language to unveil the complex layers of artistic expression, from the initial spark of inspiration to the final moments of introspection and vulnerability. I invite you to delve into this piece and immerse yourself in the profound beauty of the creative journey, as seen through my eyes and felt within my heart.

Enter my mind and I awake,
Exit through the hands as another state.

Creation flows and takes its grip,
As the storm of thoughts begins to whip.

From chaos forms a masterpiece,
As heart and mind unite, released.

Another hope has proven ink,
Exacting judgment begins to sink.

As spirits calm and form is torn,
Nevermore was the fragment born.

Cast aside and left to drown,
Another tempest remains unfound.

Weakened sage and veiled verse,
Mute echo of the universe.

In the quiet, still hours of the morning, I found myself unexpectedly stirred by a single phrase that had taken root in my mind. Though I tried to shake it loose and drift back into slumber, it persisted, a persistent refrain that refused to be ignored. Eventually, I found myself drawn to my keyboard, fingers poised to capture the words that had taken hold. As I gave in to the creative impulse, I felt the familiar thrill of inspiration course through me, and I surrendered to the flow of words that spilled forth. In that moment, I was both author and audience, transfixed by the power of the creative process.
